           Quick start on fly-DPI

           1. General search

           2. Protein network map

           3. Ping-pong search

Data source and Statistic model implemented

3. Ping-pong search:

Figure 6. Find the shortest path of your protein pair. Enter locus names or orfs of both proteins in the first two boxes on the top. Choose a preferred probability threshold. Set "Max level(ie. level=distance+1)" for maximum path to view in a instant path map. For those longer than 5, the map must be sent through e-mail.

Figure 7. Map of proteins potentially involved in apoptosis generated by ping-pong search. By the click on the nodes or lines between two query proteins, the advanced option will remove the paths related or confine the paths with the selected nodes or lines.
